I like simple. At least I think I do.

But if I do, I don't understand why I go and complicate things and fill up my day and my mind with ultimately meaningless activity and clutter. Why do I mark up the white space of my life and soul with things other than God and love?

I suppose it's the little dude in me that just keeps thinking that he is god and runs the show. I am grateful for the daily reminders that he is not. I am grateful for times when I clean house and make room for Him to do His thang in and with me.

I was reminded today to just stop, do nothing, and let Him do for me what I cannot and never will do for myself.
